Yes, it will come in very handy. Did I mention that my other half isn't the brightest and completely ruined one of my Kitchenaid ones just like it? That was my Christmas present, too! He left it on the burner on HIGH with NOTHING in it, and went upstairs to play that stupid WOW game and forgot about it... Guess who found it like ten minutes later??

That is just wrong! DH would have been feeling that hot pan on his tush if he did that to my favorite pan!!! (Which might I add is a commercial grade and size fry pan - it is huge and heavy as heck, but it is great for when I am doing batch cooking and am working with a lot more food at once.)

I'm extremely impressed! I had one sent to my Mom and she loved it! Almost in time for Mother's Day . . . . I didn't need one more pan but I may use it as a gift. I really needed the timer though.
