If I remember correctly, in past "double coupon promotions" there was posted a list of coupons or products there were possible good deals. Has that been started or can we start one now? Or am I being too optimistic of Smith's doing this after-Thanksgiving event on Nov 25-27?!?


Wanna hear something funny? Anytime I ask Smith's local personnel or even corporate persons about when they will run the "double coupon" promotion I'm always given the answer "We don't know until the day it actually happens". Yet, every time Smiths has run this promotion, a local competitor in my area runs a similar promotion. So I'm wondering how does their competitor know when to have the same coupon deal when Smiths doesn't even know???

Internet Printables Only:

As of last week, my local Smith's will not take more than 2 printables during one transaction, per customer. The limit for both printables is "No more than $5 taken off with both coupons combined".

Example:
a coupon for $4.00 can't be combined with a coupon for $1.20, that equals $5.20 and they won't allow it. You can use the coupons separately, in 2 transactions.

Smith's will no longer accept these coupons:
Internet Printables for FREE items
Printables that will NOT scan
Printables that do NOT look original or possibly look copied
Printables that do NOT have a Valid Expiration Date printed on them.

Maybe someone works in a newspaper printing department. Those people know before anyone in the public knows.

Was talking with on of my mods yesterday and she is getting her coupons ready in hopes that they will run them after Thanksgiving...I just hope if they do them they wait till I am home. LOL

Sorry for the bad math above. It's not my forte...I use my fingers or a calculator. LOL

My Smith's has not enforced this new printables policy. I recently used 10 IP's for Armour product, any .75/1

I am getting my coupons ready, too. My fav cashier, nighttime CSM is hoping I'll be able to get great deals, too. He doesn't know yet if there'll be doubles or not.

what do you guys do to get your coupons ready? How do you organize it? What usually go on sale?
