    QUESTION Smith's Reward Program

We just received word from my Smith's mgmt that as of April 15th, we would be participating in the "Rewards" program.

I understand the points program, i am currently participating, but we have heard about fuel point program...

What are fuel points? are they earned in addition as the rewards points?

At my store in NM, you earn fuel points based on your purchases, but no bonus gas points for bringing your own bags. There are tallies at the bottom of my receipts for regular rewards points and gas points as well as Earn & Learn.

    From the FAQ:
    Fuel Rewards
This program varies from market to market, but all information is here.

In some markets, fuel discounts can be used at Smith's fuel stations and Shell fuel stations.

We have fuel points at our locations in Las Vegas. We get .10 or .15 cents off (can't remember off hand) a gallon once we earn 100 points. We can even use our fuel points at participating Shell gas stations, not just the gas station at the Smith's location.

These points have helped us out immensely since our gas is over $4 a gallon now.
