    DD3 Smith's Food & Drug Weekly Ad 01/05/2011 - 01/11/2011 *CASELOT!*

I forgot to post that there were bins full of Kroger Beans, pallets of tomato sauce, and tons more!

I'm wondering if the case lot will be this week or next. I could surely use some more beans!

I didn't get a copy of the ad on Mnday like I had hoped....

Thank you Heidi for posting. I get ads on Monday's and was going to post yesterday but my children became sick. What a night! Thank you!

Greenfrog please feel free to edit my post as needed or put the spoiler tags around the pictures if you think it looks cluttered. Just trying to help.

I am in for some mandarin oranges in the case lot sale. Maybe some sugar. I need to check my price book to see if that is a good price.

The chicken breasts at $1.99 are decent if you are running low. Not a stock up price. Here Walmart sells Chicken breasts for $1.79 lb boneless skinless...

I am also out of tomato sauce so that 25¢ a can looks good to me.

Honey is a good deal, hard to find honey on sale with coupon here. Its winter so no local supply.

That citrus is looking pretty tasty. This is the season for good citrus fruit.

    Great case deal!

Looks like I'll actually get to start a real stockpile this weekend. :)

I'm planning on getting some of the mandarin oranges too, have they been cheaper than that in past sales?

The case lot sales are a good deal when you are first starting as you can build a stockpile. However, some of us seasoned couponers know that on some of these items you can get a better deal if you wait for coupons and sales to align. Most of us take advantage of the case lot sales for items we are low on and we get just enough to tide us over till the next good deal with coupons, or we get items that don't often have good sales or coupons, and staples that we need or would need regardless (sugar, flour, etc)
