Smith's Food & Drug ~ Good Deal: scenerios for this mega deal

Hi there, this is the first time I have visited the Smith's Thread, but my brother in UT is interested in couponing and I just wanted to get some input from you experts that shop there frequently. I look at their ad online, but would love to see what others are doing with the weekly sales so that I can relate that to him, if I missed somethings. Thanks for you time and help!!

Here's what I did today:
23 Rotel Tomatoes (shelf price 92¢) used 10x 55¢/2 insert coupons and 3 B2G1 coupons from an All You issue sometime ago
4 Electrasol poweball tabs (sale price $3.49) used 4x $2.50/1 insert coupons that expire today
19 Quaker Quakes (sale price 99¢) -- had to hunt for these since the shelves and display were bare -- look up and down food aisles for clip strips! used 19x 75¢/1 insert coupons
4 Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Cheese (sale price $1.99) used 2x $2.00/2 nonSS coupons that I got in a trade


So I got 5x $5.00 Mega Sale Event DIscounts.


Also, I bought the Mission Tortillas Soft Taco 10 count that are on sale for $1.50 and noticed they have the [+] on the receipt that signifies they are part of the sale. Combine with the $1.00/1 insert coupon and get them free in your Mega order!!! I used one of those coupons on this order but this made it 51 items...

I also had 25¢ worth of overripe bananas.

My total was $1.13!!! I saved $105.60 and got a 5¢ fuel discount!
