Register your card with your address.

The Rewards Program is only available in select markets. I believe Nevada and New Mexico Smith's stores only so far.

Before the Rewards program, I received coupons in homemailers at least once per quarter. It seems the more transactions per quarter, the better the coupons.

They go by your rewards points, and various things you purchase throughout the quarter. Points are added up Jan-Mar, Apr-June, July-Sept, Oct-Dec. You get $5.00 rewards for every 500 points. Extra points roll over to the next quarter, except the last quarter (Oct-Dec). Sign up smithsfoodanddrug dot com go to "my smiths" enter your card #, proper address, e-mail address, and you will receive e-mails on how to earn extra points throughout the year. Usually you earn 1 point for every dollar you spend.

And....you earn extra points if you bring your own shopping bags, you usually have to remind your checker!

I only get a 5¢ credit per bag when I remember my bags. At least, I never noticed extra points.....

I thought $15 per quarter was pretty good, especially considering that I bought a patio set to help me get there. Wowzers on the $25!!!

BE patient! You just moved to a Smith's area. Smith's sends out coupons once per quarter. You probably missed it for the beginning of July quarter. Bet you get some in November!
