I am Toni and I shop in the Poughkeepsie, NY store. They have a daycare for your kids - FREE for an hour and 1/2. I try and go every thursday afternoon after lunch (can't shop when I'm hungry, I buy everything)There are usually coupons in our Wed. paper. My son loves the daycare and the ladies there running it. For the past couple months I have saved over $120. each week with price plus, catalinas, and coupons. Last week I saved $169. and spent $98. out of pocket (my personal best was over a year ago -got $190. worth of groceries for $9.10 out of pocket - havn't been able to do that again but I keep trying LOL)

A day care is incredible!! I would LOVE it if they would put something like that in my store. That would save me SO much aggravation ........LOL

Hi,
Newbie here beginning my first week in the coupon world.
I live in between Hillsborough and Montgomery NJ but mostly use Hillsborough store. I also go to Pathmark in Hillsborough.
I am English and been in this country 2 years. I have 2 kids age 15 (boy) and 13 (girl). They are in the Montgomery school system.
The biggest savings I need are chips and cookies - I find them much more expensive than the Uk and the choice is not as big.
I love to srapbook and cardmake so my first foray into the coupons was at Joannes and Michaels but supermarket ones are so much more fun.
My mom laughs when I tell her my exploits with coupons - they aren't populare in the UK. That is probably due to the supermarket wars. At the moment they are battling with the cost of fruit and vegetables. My sister tells me you can get it for silly prices as each chain tries to get you in the doors. Previous years at this time it has been ridiculous low offers on alcohol but the goverment is trying to crack down on alcohol abuse so prices have gone up.
If anyone sees me in Shoprite give me a nudge. I am 38 years old, 5' 5", short blonde hair and I usually look confused or lost as I will be trying to find the offers LOL!!

I usually shop at the Lawrenceville, NJ Shoprite.

I've really only learned how to use coupons in the past 4-5 months, but it seems like the Lawrenceville cashiers have suddenly (past few weeks) become "coupon naz is." I carefully print on a color laser printer and clip each one, so nothing looks like a cheap copy, but I've had multiple cashiers scrutinizing all the numbers and terms on every coupon. The last few trips I only bought a few items and it's taken way too long for them to look at every number and detail of every coupon. I'd like to know if anyone else has had this trouble there. I'm actually thinking about shopping at a different Shoprite because it almost makes you feel like you've done something wrong by using one freely available coupon for one free item one time. I do love that they double my $0.75 coupons up to $1.50 though. I wonder how long that will last...

Hi I shop at the Bristol CT shoprite. Any others?
I have reading the posts and notice a couple of things, #1 our shoprite will not take internet coupons of any kind and #2 our regional coupons are always on 2. For example we never receive a .50 on 1 coupon it is almost always $1/2. This makes for some not so good deals. This week for example scenarios that are posted for free will cost us .50.

I often get the $1/2 type coupons also. I buy or trade here in the traders forum for the better coupon value for my stores that double. I also buy from ebay. That way I can buy multiple of the coupons I do want and not waste time cutting 1-2 coupons at a time for items I may never use.
