HELP BRAND new to this - Possibly silly question ahead...

I just want to make sure I'm doing this right and reading everything correctly... I really don't want to show up at the store and look like an idiot in the checkout line!

ShopRite has Pepsi 2-Liters for 5/$5 (Lipton Brisk Tea, Sierra Mist, Mtn Dew or Pepsi) - and it also says you must buy 5.

    I have:

    - (4) $1/2 Pepsi Max 2-Liters
    - (4) $1/2 Any Sierra Mist flavor or variety 2-Liters

    Can I get:

    (8) Pepsi Max
    (8) Sierra Mist
    (4) Other Pepsi Product

Making the first (16) $0.50/each and the other (4) $1.00/each.... Giving me a grand total of $12 for (20) 2-Liters.....??

Is this math right and can I do this?

Don't ever think it's a silly question, trust me on that b/c there is always someone who has either already asked the question or someone else who is waiting for the answer to the same question!! Besides, it's my job to ask the silly questions!

Keep in mind that in the ad, it states that you must buy 5 (which you know), but it also says "Additional or lesser quantities will scan at $1.25 each. With that said: I would break it up into separate transactions in order to get them for the 5 for $5. Use 2 of your $1.00/2 coupons for each transaction so it looks like this:

    5 for $5.00. $1.00/2(2) = $2.00/4. Makes it 5 for $3.00 or $0.60 each.

That's what I would do. Others may see it differently than I do though.

Ok, that makes sense. The ad also said "Limit 4 Offers" with a ShopRite Club Price Card above it. I was assuming that meant I could get up to (20) 2-Liters (4 offers of (5) 2-liters each) in one transaction or does it mean just with my one ShopRite Club Price Card?

So much to learn! OMG! lol

Ok, called the store! They said you can get up to (4) of that offer - meaning you can get up to 20 2-liters, as long as it's in groups of 5. So, if I only got 19, then the last 4 would be the "Additional or Lesser Quantity Price" which in this case in $1.25.

    Yay!

Good job! See? It's not too hard, right? Just never worry about asking questions either here or at your store!

Where in NJ are you stationed? You got here just in time for winter. Lucky you!

Thanks!!! I'm hoping it's like learning how to play a board game - the hardest part is learning all of the rules and how to play!

We're stationed at McGuire AFB. I am NOT looking forward to winter! I'm originally from New Orleans, so this southern girl is not snow trained. Thankfully, my husband is from Chicago, so he'll be able to teach me how to drive in the snow, etc. In the past when we've gone to Chicago to visit during the winter, I have a hard time even staying standing, so even with the help, it may be hopeless. lol
