HI Where Were You When the Lights Went Out?

...choosing my flavor of Luigi water ice!
Huge thunderstorm rolled thru here around 7pm and the power went out while I was in Shoprite. It really was so dark you couldnt see your hand in front of your face.
back up lights came on for a bit- but store did end up closing early.

I have coupons for those and can't find them anywhere! I know I've bought them before but can't remember where. Or what state I was in when I bought them.

ETA: I just went to their website. Their product is not anywhere within 100 miles of me. So why is their coupon in my insert? Wah!

That happened to me twice last week!! (here in VA) 1st time was a Bloom & power went off just as I was walking in - man behind me was able to pry the sliding doors open The next time was in Farm Fresh & we were trapped like rats for about 20 minutes til the lightening calmed down (not the torrential rain though!!) The power didn't come back on in the store til the next afternoon - so they had to throw all of the meat, dairy, refrigerated foods away. I can't imagine the thousands of dollars they lost. RIP all you delicious Magnum Bars and Ben & Jerry's.
