How come my coupons are different?

Hello folks , just something I've been meaning to ask. Everytime I look at the match ups there are always a few differences in the coupons I get compared to what is listed. Sometimes I don't get the coupons at all , someone suggested I get the thursday paper too since sometimes there is a packet in thursday paper instead of Sundays, did that this week but no coupons .

Example this week match up listed Barilla pasta coupons .55 off one but my coupon is $1 off 2?
ALso the Butterball turkey bacon is listed here has .55 off one but my coupon is again $1/2?

I live in bergen county and I have switced between the bergen record and star ledger yet it seems to make no difference every week there is something I am missing?

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

Manufacturers intentionally target various markets (regions) with specific values/coupons. What one paper gets, rarely will it match another even nearby.

It's all part of their marketing.

Yep. What $Saving! said. That is why so many of us will trade for them here or order from clipping services, as we get the coupons we're looking for. I have a friend of mine gives me his coupons from the Middlesex County area, Star Ledger and his coupons are different from mine in the Ocean County Asbury Park Press.

anyone notice that some of the Colgate coupons say DND from last week or week before, but I have some form same papers that don't have the DND and they do double!

I used a new one this weekend and it didn't double :(

If it starts w/ a 5, it will double, if it starts w/ a 9 it will not.

I totally agree with you! It drives me crazy that i get different valued coupons! When everyone gets the 75cents off colgate, i only get 35 cents and it always says DND. Very frustrating! Thanks for letting me vent

Right? I am always getting the ones where you need to buy two but the coupon listed here says off 1 - Oh well.
