DD3 Warminster (PA) Triple Coupons up to .99 1/23-1/29 but the rules changed

From the ad....."The value of manufacturers coupons will be doubled or tripled for identical coupons up to a limit of one item per day."

I had gone a few times to buy Ritz crackers which are Must buy 2 for $5 & there are .75 qs in the Safeway book. Each time they both tripled. Today I used 3 Sunsweet & 2 French's mustard & everything tripled.

Ok, so for us amateur coupon users, do I need to bring in two identical coupons and then they triple the savings? DO I need to buy multiple items? So if I go to buy 2 cans of caviar at $100 each and the coupon is for $50 off per can, then I will get $150 discount on the two cans?

THis is only an example , I'm not looking for overpriced fish eggs. As a new father of two shiny, healthy twins, I only think about two things, diaper coupons and formula coupons.

THanks in advance for everyone's help on HCW.

Not to confuse anyone, The triples aren't currently going on; but for the future, it works like regular doubling of coupons: you need one coupon per product, (if the coupon is off one item)
For your caviar example (really? caviar? LOL) we have to use smaller dollar amounts because if there were a $50 off Q it wouldn't triple. So you buy 2 cans of caviar at $1.00 apiece= $2.00 then if you have $.50 off one can coupon it would only double, because the can of caviar is $1.00. The register probably won't give overage le. give you money above the cost of the item purchased.
If the cans were $2. each, and you had A $.50 off coupon, during triples, you would get $1.50 off a can.

From what I know of the Warminster store, the coupon use is super restrictive during triples. . .you can only triple one of the same coupon, so you'd only be able to get one can of caviar and use one coupon.
on your new twins and please feel free to ask any other questions!
