I had a $10/$100 coupon that expired on Sunday because there was a snowstorm, and I couldn't make it to the store. On Monday, I looked for one of the store managers, but there were a group of suits talking. At the right time, I explained about the storm & asked if I could still use it. He said I could, signed the coupon, and told me he was a district manager and gave me his name. He said if a cashier asks, they can find him in the store.

The cashier said it was expired, I told her about the gentleman, she called her supervisor, she said no problem!

I like my Shop-Rite. I make it a point to be friendly with the managers. Whenever I see a big-wig, I compliment the staff. Once Mr. Perlmutter (he owns our area stores) was at the store, and he introduced himself to me. I told him the managers keep the store so neat and stocked. The managers were thrilled. Now they say hello to me every time I'm there.
