How did the napkin come for free, isn't the q for tissue pp and to? And is the peperridge cracker q local? Thx,
Reg's referring to the coupon in some of the inserts this weekend.

And not sure which PF cracker coupon you're referring to offhand here, but there were inserts.

Today I purchased 4 Swanson's Broth (32 oz. box) @1.49 each. I tried to use a Smartsource Blinkie Q that started with a "5" (not a DND 5) and it didn't double or even adjust down to 74 cents. I went to CS and I was told that ALL blinkies from the machines didn't double, even the 5's. Is this true? I've never had a problem with "5" blinkies not doubling before. The last time I used a "5" blinkie was in early summer (75/1 Pictsweet veggies) but things may have changed. I've got a small feeling that the CS didn't know what she was talking about. My guess is there's still a problem with SR coupon coding since the new registers were installed. (I had problems with the Carolina Flavored Rice 50/2 Q's not doubling on Sunday as well.) I've got 16 more of these Q's and come hell or high water I'm want my free chicken broth!

    Any thoughts?

How about using self scans for just the chicken broth coupons!!!! they should double there. :)

Thanks for the suggestion...but it's a no go.

To start with there's no self-scan at my store in Carmel, NY. Secondly, these were not DND-5 coupons. These coupons were 5's and should've doubled or (as per policy at my store), adjusted down a penny to the $1.49 price making them free. The register did not double the Q. There was never any problem with the checkout person. There was a slight problem with the CS rep who doesn't seem to understand blinkies, coupon coding (9's, 5's and DND 5's) and the SR doubling policy of such coupons. Or, it could certainly be me that doesn't understand the complex world of Smartsource blinkies and the doubling policy. Ugh.

***Ahhh, just read the "Questions About Doubling" thread. It seems the Carmel SR computers are all screwed up as well. I think I'll find a manager during my next visit and see if I can get any information from him/her. I could think it may be a new doubling policy but the doubling/non-doubling is soooo inconsistent that it seems like multiple coding screw-ups. I'll report back when I get a definitive answer.

    Anyone who drinks Lactaid milk:

The half gallon milks, including the whole milk, all had 1.00 off peelies on them when I went to the store today. I ended up getting my half gallon for 2.99 today.

    HTH someone!

No, not true. DND-5 blinkies will double just like all other DND-5 coupons will double. I recently used some, don't recall for what (more tuna?).

Sounds like Hers were neither 9 nor dnd5's they didn't have dnd and they had a 5.
Things that make ya go Hmmm.

In that case I'd say that the person who told you blinkies don't double was wrong. it had a 5 and didn't say dnd if I remember the post correctly.

Another thing I noticed from my trip today:

    Friendship sour cream is 1.29
use the 1.00/2 coupon and they are .79 each
Buy 2 and you get back 1.00 catalina!

So, .58 for 2 tubs. That's a pretty good deal if you need sour cream for the holidays!
