Can you believe again. They are going to have a good sale on a lot of the items that I need and have coupons for but I need it for Sat. for my sons birthday party! I can't believe this. I have to pay full prices well I'm using coupons but still I would have gotten them a lot cheaper.

Oh well that is how it goes.

A catalina is a coupon that prints out during or at the end of your order. Sometimes it will be for $3.00 off your next order as a reward for buying certain products, or it could just be another coupon. As for the internet coupons, they might technically still double if the first number is a 5 and the cashier does not intervene, but my shoprite makes sure the cashiers do not double if they say not to on the coupon. Coupons starting with the number 9 are programmed to never double. I hope this helps.

Hi, newbie here, I have introduced myself on the the other thread.
I have just started couponing ths week and my head is buzzing with the great info I am getting from you all - thank you very much.
Question if I may? How do you know when it is best to use your coupon? I notice some offers you show use coupons from as late back as September - why did you not use them sooner - how did you know it would be best to use them now? Is this something I will learn with time/experience?
I do remind myself you are the best shoppers and I am a learner -I need to take little steps but you are getting me all excited LOL
TIA

It is just a statement of what Q has not yet expired. It is possible that you may have already used a given Q, but if you havent' you can use it now. As for when to use it, that kind of varies according to your need for the item/ and what you are willing to pay. Free is always the best and you work your way up from there according to what you feel is a good price for a certain product. The longer you play the game the lower that number gets. As you go along you will get a feel for what the lowest cost is. Some shoppers keep a journal of sale prices on the products they use the most and track when it is at its lowest. I kinda keep a running total in my head. It is difficult for me to want to pay more than a dollar for anything other than meat or milk. There are exceptions, but only a few. Keep up the great work and ask away the HCWers are awesome!!!

There's a coupon for $1.25/3 on Jello gelatin & other items, including Philadelphia cream cheese. This would make the Philly cc bars $1.72/3, about $0.57 each after coupon--cheaper than the SR brand if you can use 3 bars. If you have the storage space cream cheese keeps for a few months until it's opened.

Yup, they do keep a LONG time unopened. My dog loves this stuff too.. Thanks and reps for the Q heads up. I grabbed a few, but was thinking Jello. This works better
