I saw this on ShopRite's webpage a while back and thought about signing up, but then I realized that if you have a BETTER man Q than the one loaded on your card, the register would likely use the loaded Q and not the paper one. Has anyone had an experience with this yet?

I wondered the same thing. I prefer to pick & choose which coupon gets used.

I guess if you are cell phone addicted (I am one of the 10 Americans left who don't even know where mine is at the moment.. LOL), you could have then texted to your phone right before checkout if you don't have better Qs, but this one kind of annoys me.

I like those $2 SR Family points "rewards", but mine always seems to get added when I have a balance on the order less than $2.. and they try to "fix it" by not doubling my coupons or not taking all of them off and saying "well, you still paid nothing"... um, except that you just KEPT my Qs that you didn't apply AND I could have gotten even more stuff for free! I wish those would print like a catalina or something.

Check out the FAQ's on Cellfire's site. Apparently they do not "encourage" the use of paper coupons with cellfire coupons. I wonder if that means it is theoretically possible to use them both? Or if it will just not register one.

Also, it says if you have multiple e-coupons for an item, it deducts the highest valued one first.

So, I wonder if that means that in the case of having both a paper and e-coupon available, would the computer automatically just deduct the value that is the most beneficial to the customer?

I love how they worded that....they do not encourage....

I use cellfire and I have been able to use the cellfire discount that I loaded on my card and a paper coupon for the same product with no problem.

Does your shoprite have the brand new registers>
I am thinkin that the new ones are persnickity.

For instance, used to be with the old ones the register would double 4 like coupons per VARIETY , Now it's 4 like coupons period.

So I wondered if you have the new or the old.

We just got the new registers about 2 weeks ago so I have not tested the cellfire Q's with it yet. I will test it out this week and use one of the cellfire qs and a paper coupon and see what happens. I will report back after I go, which will probably be Wednesday.

No, I wish! I am in Orange County NY, but we go camping every summer in Cape May! And When we are there we go to the Rio Grande Shoprite.
How bad did you guys get the hit with this storm over the weekend? From what we heard on the news here Cape May County got hit pretty hard. Hope all is ok by you.
