Used to be if the sale price was straight up, then that's what counted.
If the sale price was "with card", then the shelf price counted.
All items had to be bought in the same transaction.
You could make more than one transaction for the same offer on the same card.
Now if the new info is correct, then it's more like CVS, where you don't have to make your entire purchase in one transaction. The system keeps track, and once you reach the threshold, the coupon spits out. When the limit is reached, no more coupons. The workaround at CVS is to have more than one cards.
Again, if the new info is correct, it means there is no harm in doing a test-purchase with shelf prices. If the coupon prints, then fine. If it doesn't, then there's still an opportunity to make up the difference in the next transaction. |
