Shoppers $15/$30 Cat deal
So, has anyone done this deal? I was wondering if they count the shelf price instead of the real price. In the Acme thread they are saying that i's the shelf price, and Acme and Shoppers have the same parent company.
I was thinking of getting in on the charmin deal. At Acme they said it was 15.99 shelf price, and I don't expect it's any less at Shoppers... which means buy 2 Charmin at $10.99 (per my ad) (-$1 Q if you have them) and then the $15 Q back... so $21.98 - 15 = 6.98 for the equivalent of 72 rolls, or 17c per roll!
Others would work as well... I think Tide is over $15 for the shelf price.
Oops... sorry - you exceeded the limit of my attention span!
Bye Mom... I love you, and will miss ya. 4/5/11

Re: Shoppers $15/$30 Cat deal
I was wondering that too.......although, for the stores that it is working based on shelf price, a discount store card is needed to get the sale price and Shoppers doesn't have a store card. I 'think' it is working at those other stores because the price before their store card is over $30 and then when the card is scanned, it deducts the sale savings but the catalina prints based on price before the card savings. Unfortunately, Shoppers doesn't have a card, so I doubt it would work on shelf prices.......although it would be nice if it did:) Can someone who tried it based on shelf price let us know?
