Coupon Rant, Wilkins Twp PA store

Went to Wilkins Twp Shop N Save store. They have pepsi 6 packs on sale 4 for $10, when you buy 4, MUST buy 4. Store add says = pepsi 6-packs 4 for $12, minus $2 instantly in-store discount, thus making them 4 for $10. I had a couple of the $2 off 2 packs of pepsi coupons and they wouldn't accept them. They said it's against there policy because the $2 in-store is an in-store coupon. This is not how it's stated in there add and no where there coupon policy.

I even had store manager come over and he said no. I am not happy to say the least. Can anyone shed some light on this policy? sounds bogus to me!

If it was the $2/2 coupon that was in the SS they should have not refused that. It was valid for plastic bottle multipacks. Sounds like the in store discount was automatically deducted from your Perks card. I know that each SNS has their own coupon policy. Some of them allow 3 like coupons, some allow 4, some don't care about coupon limits for example. If you are planning to shop at SNS in the future then go to CS to see if they will accept your coupon and if there are limits. I would also contact SNS through their website here and tell them what happened at that particular store. It doesn't sound right to me.

I always go through self check at Wilkins Twp - if stuff beeps they usually just come over and put it through. I did this deal at Holiday Park SNS and my mom did it at the Saltsburg Rd one no problem.

Last week I used the $3 off one hormel party tray coupon and there was a buy one tray, get $5 off chicken wings at the deli. When it came time to checkout, the manager came over denying me three times that she couldn't accept 2 coupons for 1 item. The thing is, if you offer a buy one get one coupon, to me that coupon is for the free item only... not for the item you're paying for! After the third time she just manually entered it.

I don't shop at SNS a lot since they're so strict on their coupon policies....they refuse to double a lot of coupons, have a limit of 3 like coupons, and a total limit of 30...the coupon policy changes so much to suit their sale items. Its just such a waste of my time to drive out there and be held hostage by managers demanding I pay full price for something their stores claim as "unlimited coupons"...there's a giant sign outside one of ours and its a big joke. I feel like taking them to court for false advertising. Unlimited should mean unlimited...not very strict usage that changes without notice...and according to which person is working that day.
