sale or shelf pice ??

at shop and save they have a deal on ice cream... purchese $12 worth get $3 off....
is it $12 sale price or $12 shelf price???
if shelf price i would have to buy only 2 Edy
12.49 shelf and $5 sale - $3 off = $2

Anyone know??

Did you try it? Hubby called me to ask about that, but if I remember from a while ago they go by shelf price on all of the sales.

I'm heading to the Bethel park store for the super sale tonite...hope it isn't way crazy.

Is there an answer to this? I want to do the Conagra one tonight...I'm almost too chicken to try though. I know GE goes by shelf for it....
