I was afraid that the instant $5 that comes off for the General Mills deal would affect the $50 total that we need to get to.

Does anyone know for sure which way it works?

In prior weeks when they had the "instant savings" it came off the end of the receipt with the coupons and did not affect the $50 total. (Con-Agra deal a few weeks ago is the one I did)
