    **We Reserve the Right to Change our Coupon Policy Without Notice. A portion of our coupon policy does differ by State due to varying state regulations. Our coupon policy in it’s entirety can be found posted at every register and at the service desk. Below are the standard coupon procedures for all stores.**


    1. Competitor coupons are not accepted with the exception of valid Catalina manufacturer coupons and ‘manufacturer’ must be stated on the coupon. Competitor Catalina store coupons are not accepted.
    2. Coupon amount may be reduced so that any combined discounts and coupons (including doubling) do not exceed the value of the item.
    3. One store coupon and one valid manufacturer coupon may be applied to an item.
    4. ONE manufacturer BOGO coupon, ONE manufacturer “buy 2 get $$ off” coupon, or ONE “buy 1 and get $$ off” may be accepted per BOGO offer. No other coupons accepted for free or BOGO items.
    5. Coupon must have a valid scanable barcode and a valid date to be accepted.
    6. Transactions may not be separated for the purpose of circumventing coupon policies.
    7. Shaw’s reserves the right to limit quantities.
    8. Photo copied, altered and/or fraudulent coupons will not be accepted.


    Doubling of Manufacturer Coupons

    1. Shaw’s doubles valid manufacturers' coupons that have a face a value up to 99¢. Coupons with a face value over 99¢ are redeemed at face value only.
    2. Coupons that state “do not double” or “free” will not be doubled.
    3. No more than FOUR “like” (same UPC) coupons will be doubled per customer, per day. Any additional coupon(s) may be accepted at face value (not doubled) based upon product availability.
    Internet Coupons

    1. Manufacturers’ Internet Coupons follow the same policies stated above along with the following restrictions: Coupons must be printed from a computer printer (no copies) and must scan. Manufacturer internet coupons for free product (including buy one/get one free) or that have a value greater than $4.99 are NOT accepted.
    2. Shaw’s Internet Coupons are accepted with some restrictions. All coupon requirements must be met. The coupons must state “Shaw’s” and be printed from a computer printer (no copies). Unless otherwise stated, limit ONE coupon of each type per customer per day. Shaw’s Internet Coupons will not exceed $10, will not be doubled and cannot exceed the value of the item(s) purchased.

    Thanks for the update

    Should be interesting to see how many stores invent their own new rules or misinterpret these ones, which often happens any time there is a change.

    I like 2, 3 & 4.
    For #2, now that theres changes, some stores might want to say NO to a coupon or coupon combo that looks like better than free. This policy clearly says they should take it and just adjust the coupon. I'll always take free.
    #3, they are still allowing the combination of both. thats a good thing.
    #4, I love that this is spelled out. Using a bogo has been an issue for some in the past on bogo sales and using a $ off 2 with a b1g1 sale has often been an issue. So, this one actually helps me by being in writing :)

    The limit of 4 is crummy. thank goodness my teen is usually willing to shop with me. looks like its time for her to get her own store card. Also looks like I will continue to give S&S more of my grocery business for the rest of 2011.

    The limit on 4 'like' per customer per day and the no back to backs are the parts that makes me the saddest. Shaw's is a good 25 minute ride, on a good day, so going every day isn't a viable option for me.

    I only shop Shaw's maybe once a month, if that.. doesn't look like my Shaw's shopping trips will be increasing any time soon.

    my nearest shaws is 10 minutes away and I haven't been in 3 weeks .. I am doing much better at MB and Walmart (gasp)

    hitting BJ's tomorrow to see if i can p/u some staple items w/ coupons
