do cashiers balance their coupons at the end of the shift? I assume the cashier's balance their cash drawers at the end of their shift each day. Does anyone know if they also have to balance the coupons to match what the register says?
The other day I did my shopping and the receipt was a little more than I thought. I didn't really look it over until the next day and I realized 2 coupons didn't come off my order. Now I'm curious if the cashier's drawer was 'over' that amount on her coupons or if they don't even realize it.
