I never have any luck with Shaws gas promos anyway. I always forget which stations are participating and when I find one, I seem to not have points b/c they keep expiring or my card doesnt scan and the kids are with me so its not worth going in. So this does not affect me.

I would like to see them put the promotional dollars elsewhere though and not just write off all things "savings".

I'm so disappointed!! They work at Irvings gas stations here and they are pretty much everywhere here. And that is where we buy our gas pretty much exclusively anyway so it makes it really easy for us. Shopping at Shaws is not as easy and they are beat by a mile price wise by Market Basket. Still I will shop with them if they have some decent loss leaders (prices on meats etc.) and other sales, partly because the gas rewards are a nice perk. It never really saves me a ton, but still it's a nice extra. Oh well.

Our flyer has four store coupons where you can double up to four dollar manufacturers coupons, so I'll have to look to see if they will be worth visiting this week. Thanks for the heads up about the gas.
