Shaws: $8.00 Catalina coupon wy Spend $80.00

Today at Shaws in Hooksett, NH when they scanned out Shaws card and when checked out, (4) $8.00 off 80.00 or more purchases printed out, label Nov week 1,2,3,4 and coinsiding expiration dates (11/7, 11/14/ 11/21, 11/28). I asked what these were for and they said the first time your card scans for the month you will get these coupons because they are doing this instead of the of the month mailings of in store coupons so Shaws can save money. They said the amount varies, some will get 4.00 off 40.00, etc...depends on your average spending.

The great thing about these is they don't read must use during week 1 11/1 -11/7, etc...so you can use all four in a good sale week if you want as long as you use them by the printed expiration date. So, you can use week, 1,& 2 this week if you wanted to--the old mailing ones stipulated you could only use it between certain dates.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up as it was a surprise to us today that we got 4 of them, we used one right away since our total was $100.00 before I gave them the mfr. coupons. After the 8.00 and mfr. coupons I spent $37.69.:hectic1:

I've been multiple times to Shaws since Nov 1st and haven't received any catalinas like this.

I received them in the mail today ($3 off $30). Good for you getting your total down that much!

I don't know maybe it is a YMMV thing but we normally got the 3 off 10.00 or 8.00 off 80.00 in the mailing and we were told the mailings weren't going on anymore. Might just be a manager spouting something though --everyone in line in front of us got them as well, different amounts I guess based on your spending habits.

has anyone else seen these? I sure didn't - and I went to Shaw's often enough last week!!! :-)

Went to Shaws a couple more times since this was posted, and no catalinas still. :( Doh! I'm happy for whoever did get these, really good stuff.

I did, however, get a mailing on Saturday with several $ off different products and $10 off $140 shaws total order coupons with varying dates starting with exp of Nov. 17 through Dec. 13th.

I really miss the $10 off $80 coupons, we use to get them in my area, but not since the economy headed south last year.
