Shaw's 10/16 - 10/22/09 SCAN in POST #5

I'm sorry!! I hate when that happens. We have actually had a really easy experience at Shaw's this week. The only issue we had was when the FEM undoubled our coupons..ick, but it is what it is.

We were able to get a little over 300 of the Pillsbury baked goodies for our food bank and about 100 boxes of cereal. So it was really good for us.

I don't think the halloween cookies work because they're not part of the sale, they are only on sale for $2.99 not $2.50 like the other ones. But you should have at least gotten the $4 pillsbury cat

I see 2 things it could be. Sometimes one flavor of the mashed doesnt end up getting programmed. You are under $25 without those so that could be your issue. dark choc brownies did not work for me the other day when I used it to get past $25

OR the halloween cookies psp is less than 3.99. at my store only the pillsbury savorings cookies were psp 3.99, the others were 3.49. Your tags could have been wrong, or maybe if you looked quick thought they were all 3.99?

I just want to shout out a big big thanks to all of you who contribute and take the time to post scenarios,etc....I work full time and parent full time and just would never ever be able to save the amount of money I do on groceries because of all of you. I had an absolute blast with this week's sale and I am not done yet, going to sneak in one more trip on my way home from work.

If you're still looking for a quick little money maker here's what I did today
6 sweet rolls psp $2.99-sale 3/$5
3 cans Progresso High Fiber-psp $2.50-sale $2

total:$16
use 3 $1/1 IPs for Progresso High Fiber soup
2 $1/3 pillsbury sweet rolls

=$11
get back $14 in cats

Your OOP may be lower if you have better q's for the pillsbury sweet rolls and if you have the Shaw's store coupon for the Progresso $1/2 I think it was from the internet. I couldn't print it anymore today, the new ones were up already so I would have only spent $10 but still good

LOL, for all of the $$ I saved from this week, I'm banking it for therapy for my three year old...I can just imagine that conversation "Im an introvert becuase my mom dragged me to Shaws three times a day, every day for a week, and sometimes more!"

LOL! At least you got to spread it out over the week! I am 30 minutes from Shaws so I try to get it all done in two days! My 3yr old and I spent 4hrs shopping the other day! He was pretty good except towards the end he was getting tired! I was too it is tiring trying to save money!
