Shaws CAT coupons $$ Off $$$

Yesterday I got 4 coupons printed from the Catalina machine for $10 Off $160 or more. 1 for each of the next 4 weeks. I will never spend 160 in a week on groceries. Does anyone know what prompts the machine to print out $10 off $160 for me and say $5 off $40 for someone else? I really would like to get some $5 off $40 and wondered if there is something I can do to get one of those instead.:shrug7:

I don't know why it is, but I can assume that it may have something to do with your purchase history. Or, it could be that it is just programmed to print say $6/$60 for customer 1, $8/$180 for customer 2, $x/$yy for customer 3, and so on then repeat. An option is to call the catalina company and ask if you really care that much. I never spend the minimum amt. needed for those cats, regardless of the amt., except for when it printed $/$25 awhile back.

I got $6 off $90. I might spend that much and stock my freezer with meat but then again, Shaw's prices are at least 10-20% more than MB and six off 90 is only 6%. Hmmm....

awhile back I did receive the $6 off $60 for a period of like 4 weeks and I used a couple of them to stock up on things. Haven't got any lately though.
