Question about TP this week at SHAWS

Hi everyone!!

I went into shaws this week for some smartwater and quickly glanced at a sales flier as I was walking out the door.

Stupid me didn't take it with me so heres the question: There was a shaws coupons for Cottonelle 12 pk double rolls for $4.88. (Im pretty sure so please correct me if I'm wrong and I dont know if the SQ had limits on it)

I have a $5/$40 CAT, and 6 $1.00 MQ's for cottonelle.

Would it be worth it to purchase

6 12-pack double rolls @ $6.99 (Regular Price) = $41.94

Subtract the $5/$40 = $36.94

Subtract Shaws Q making each pack $4.88 = $24.28

Subtract my 6 $1 cottonelle MQ's = $18.28

So for $18.28 that would be 72 double rolls, is that even a good deal? LOL I'm sorry if that sounds like a silly question but in all honesty I don't usually buy the big packs and I just want to make sure its even plausible being that I don't have the Shaws Q right infront of me to see the limitations.

Please if I did this wrong or I'm not figuring correctly or if I can even use a CAT with a store Q let me know and If I did it right, is it even worth it?

The $5/$40 cat has to be used after all other coupons, so your scenario wouldn't work based on that alone.

Also, the cottonelle in-ad coupon is only good 1 per customer ("fine" print on coupon).

You could get one pack with the in-ad coupon and one of your other MQ's for $3.88 for 12 rolls (that's $.32/roll). Not as good of a deal as you wished though.

Thanks for clearing that up - i knew i had to be missing something because I don't have the SQ in front of me. Thanks for saving me a 20 minute trip to Shaws ;)
