Default Shaws GDA: Dawn dish soap on clearance $1.25

They had a ton of different Dawn dish detergents on clearance. Some were the direct foam with pump 13 oz for $1.25 but some were the 19 oz with action scrubbers or another varieties (for stopping smells-can't remember) for $1.25. With $1/2 or .25/1 coupons doubled that's not bad at all. I paid .74 for the 10.3 oz at WAGS last week with coupons.

This works out to .75 for the 19 oz bottle. This was in the Webster Sq store in Worcester.

Where do you find the clearance items in the store? Are the in the same isle as all the other dish soaps?

sometimes they are in the same ailse as usual and have a markdown tag - at my store i can use coupons if the are labeled that way. but sometimes they are on a rack at the back of the store with an orange label - if they are marked that way i can't use q's on them....

In my store, they are in the dairy aisle in a big bin for the most part.

They also have another bin in the "seasonal" aisle a lot of times.

But when you say you can't use coupons on them if they have an orange label, madamimadam1, do you mean your store won't let you? I've never had a problem doing that, though they usually beep because they can't scan the item in.

I think it is just my store - and it might have even just been the evil very mean not so very nice cashier that I now avoid like the plague....but I love my shaws and the other cashiers....

You should still be able to use a coupon for an item, even if it is on clearance. Just like at CVS or wherever. As long as you're purchasing the correct product for the coupon, it's a non-issue. If it happens again, you should just bring it up to the service desk and have them fix it.
