So I went to Shaws yesterday to get a few things and I got another catalina for $5 off Any Iams Healthy Naturals cat food. This time I didn't buy any cat food. THEN, I went to Stop and Shop today and bought a few things (again, NO cat food bought) and got the exact same catalina! I swear the Iams people are watching me or something!

I haven't gotten the $5 cat but have gotten $3 ones at both Shaws and Price Chopper. Thing is I don't have any pets. I do buy pet food when it is free with coupons for my neighbor or donations but haven't gotten any in a while.

Got this print out from the cat machine today. There's not a lot of specifics on it.

There are no participating products listed or shown, only the P&G and Pepsi logos.

There doesn't seem to be any more important stuff on the front, it just mentions Fiber percentage, says shaws and has the upc to scan.
Anyone else have one of these and care clarify what exactly this is? A free box of granola bars? buy 1 get 1 free? I'm just confused by the wording I guess.

Sounds to me that you can get a free item. It does not specifically state that you must buy 1 to get 1 free. It just says free when you buy...so you are buying, they are giving it to you free. That is how I read it. I would try it, and see what the cashier has to say, after all they will need to put the price in for you.
