No cat printed here either. The CS rep took a Powerade and scanned it 25 times to produce a new one- I don't think the Dasani is entered to prompt the cat. I bought: 10 Powerade, 1 24 pack Dasani, and 6 Viva Big rolls. Before q's, it was just over $25.

Looks like no one's having any luck with this one!

L'oreal Kids shampoo is B1G1 and in last weekend's insert there was a .75 off one, and I think these are $3.29, so you would pay .29 for 2!

Proven Winners Patio Planters are 2/$8 and in the Taste of Summer book, there are $5 coupons off 1!! Free perennials!!!!

can you tell me where you found the Patio Planters? I couldn't find them anywhere at my Shaws.

Also, here in Concord, NH, the Loreal Kids Shampoo is $3.49

They are outside with all the flowers. And, they only had annuals left, no perennials. HTH!
Sign seen in our veterinarian's office: "All children left unattended will be given a free kitten."

Thank you...i went to a different Shaws today because I was on the road for work. I got my FREE annual and LOTS of free papertowels (Home Life brand)!! LOL THen I got some FREE napkins (Homelife brand). Then I got a couple of 100 packs of paper plates and a roll of toilet paper. Also got some cat treats and FREE AIRHEADS. My total was a little over $2. But then something very neat printed out. It was a phone number to call for a 3 question survey and if you called and completed the survey, you could turn that in for a free reusable bag. So I called, then went through again with lots more FREE papergoods and my slip for my free reusable bag. Got yet ANOTHER survey, which I did on the road. Went to another Shaws and got another FREE reusable bag and more papergoods! LOL I know that it sounds like I got a lot of papergoods and really I did, but we have a party on Saturday and then another party in a few weeks. Plus, they are nice to bring to all the barbeques we have been attending lately. So, they will all be put to good use. =)

Should note that none of the cashiers gave me grief about using the coupons. Actually the first cashier I had, was like "Oh my gosh, I am going to have to hit this deal before I leave today!!" I love it when you run into a cashier that is actually nice and happy for your deals. Some of them act grumpy and act like the money is coming out of THEIR pockets.

Okay...there's my deals for the day!!

Is it sick that I actually enjoy food shopping??? I totally rocked Shaw's today! I don't usually post brags but, OMG, it was great! $98.69 worth of stuff (that I actually need and use) for $30.52!! It felt so good! I could have gotten it lower, but my printer is on the fritz so I was lacking in printables!! I also noticed two mistakes by the cashier, but didn't go back to fix them since it would probably cost me as much in gas! Oh well- still a good score! 70% savings!

My cousin/sitter was with me and she said "I should have you do my grocery shopping instead of paying me!!!"

    14 Powerades
    4 Viva Big Rolls
    1 Cottonelle 6 pack
2 Full size bottles of Sesame Street Apple and Eve Juice
    watermelon
    2 packages fresh express romaine
2 packages ground turkey 1.3 lbs each
1 big box success brown rice
    2 cans veggies
    2 pasta-roni
    8 rice-a-roni
    1 2 liter diet coke
1 Hidden Valley Ranch Lite Dressing
    2 yogurts
    1/2 gal skim milk
    2 kraft shredded cheese
    2 packs of 100 napkins
    loaf of bread
... whew! nice stockpile week for me!

I had no problems with the catalina deal today. I bought Viva, Cottonelle, Powerade, and Kleenex. I only did the deal 2x b/c my q's didn't come...but still good overall. 2nd trans. I had to add a pack of gum for it to break almost even.
