I hope so too! I wasn't able to get to Shaw's yesterday. I hope my Shaw's had the open house b/c I didn't see any ads posted about it. Was it held at all Shaw's locations? Or is a promo like this up to the manager's discretion?

Look at the upper left front cover of your flier -- there should be a small box announcing the open house. 2 of the 3 I went to were horrible... One seemed to have nothing going on at 11:30 (though I didn't check every corner). Another had an unstaffed table with cups of salad and another table with one employee giving out Italian ice cream samples. The best one had an employee traveling the store giving away slices of cake and a station making a big plate of greens and their beef.

I think they have done too many of these lately, so the managers aren't making any special effort.

I'm tempted to complain to corporate. Why bother if the stores aren't going to put in any effort? At least they had plenty of the coupon books hanging around.

The only good part of the open house were the coupons books. The person that had the salad/meat display at our store in NH was having a personal conversation and did not pay attn to us so we left. There was someone giving out a lime drink that I didnt like also. We were not impressed
