I spotted a sign today at Shaws that indicates an end to the acceptance of competitor coupons (this could be a store only policy, but seemed to be more complete than a usual store policy).
The instructions said that effective 7/10/10, they would not accept competitors' coupons with the exception of Catalina coupons.
The sign was for the cashiers (not the public) and gave further instructions on handling coupons. I'll see if I can absorb more info next trip.

Check out GROUPON. Get amazing deals in your area (or other areas when you are traveling) and also earn money towards purchases with referrals. I just ordered 90lbs of food split over 6 weeks. Groupon deal price, $75! They have phone apps and all kinds of customization so you get the deals you really want.
I am new to all this but my question is when you say limit is 6 of the same coupon, does that mean the same item coupon (i.e. 6 Kelloggs coupons) or does this mean 6 coupons of the same value 6 $.50 coupons. Thanks!! :o)

The Shaw's Facebook page is FILLED with coupon questions and official answers and they're all very recent.![]()
Hello everyone,
I came across a new Shaw's coupon policy for ME, NH and VT revised
June 22 2011.
One change I noticed right away was "No more than FOUR "like" (same UPC) coupons will be doubled per customer, per day. Any additional coupon(s) may be accepted at face value (not doubled) based on product availability."
I followed a link from a blog and the policy looks official. It has a Reward's card in the upper left hand corner.
Just wanted to give a head's up.
Happy coupon shopping.
