(Shaws) Solo Products Catalina Deal -- 5/16 to 6/8

I discovered this one by accident today, but it's a moneymaker if you have the coupons:

Buy any Solo cups, plates or bowls (excluding cutlery, straws and for season items) between 5/16 and 6/8:

Buy 2, get $1 OYNO
Buy 3, get $3 OYNO
Buy 4 or more, get $4 OYNO

Everything must be purchased in one transaction. The Catalina I got today expires on 6/9/08.

There is a $2/1 coupon on Solo Heavy Duty from SS 5/18. They are on sale for $2 each for this week.

Reg price= $2.79, so still a $ maker after the sale ends on Thursday.

Buy 4 @ $2 (sale) - $2 Q = $4 money maker

I didn't get one when I went shopping last night..maybe the cashier never gave it to me. UGH???? I think I may try it when I go tomorrow but only do maybe 5 to see if the catalina prints.

This worked for me today, but beware, sorta...

I used my $3/5 Kraft as well (trying to gt the .45 overage from tax, kwim?)

Anyhow, if you buy taxable stuff, I think you may be out of luck on the extra tax issue...

I mean, the $3 comes off (I bought 4 jellos and 1 kraft cheese, and wanted $3.45 off, but got $3 - still, only $1.50 for 8 oz cheese and 4 jello...

... and the bread crumbs were marked as $1.39 so I didnt get them, but geez.... the ingredients include sesame, milk, egg, etc... blah :(

worked for me today too. not a beep to be heard (on the solo anyway . lol)
i got 4 got $4 oyno . hubby got 3 on his order (only had 7 coupons) got a $3 oyno coupon ... great find :) ty

I wondered why that didn't work for me last night. I'm out of the Solo coupons (did it 3 x), so that shouldn't be a factor any more.

ETA: Though the first time I discovered the Catalina, I bought 6 of the Solo plates (hey, I didn't know about the Catalina yet) and one of the recyclable shopping bags this Shaws gives for the survey response (instead of bread) and I got my 45 cents overage. Both trips were at the same Shaws. No idea what is triggering the overage problem.

I know that the $3 kraft, and some other coupons, end up getting 15% tax taken off (in Mass, at least), but, like, only if you have no taxable items...

I cant believe that someone hasnt figured it out... or maybe its not that big a deal?
