GENERAL MILLS PRODUCTS, 10 FOR 20 AND A $10 OFF COUPON. also, there are a ton of qs out there for these products. My question is, in ad Q says 10/20 "after other coupons/discounts" I think... iforget the exact wording .. anywway, iam not sure how to read it.. looks like you may have to have a 20 balance after coupons... is that normal for shaws
$/$$ off Qs?

Shaw's used to count reg. prices towards promotions, not any more..:frown:
Can they legally do that? Coupons are a tender just like cash.
This is a store coupon, so yes, they can put all sorts of requirements on it.
Coupons are not a tender same as cash - the rules vary dramatically by state.
There are more restrictions on coupons than on cash - for example, cash can be used to purchase alcohol and tobacco, coupons cannot.
Coupons often reduce the taxable purchase amount, cash does not.
I've used coupons in the past like this....and have always given this coupon first then the remainder of the coupons and have never had any issues.....maybe I'm missing something on the coupon???
I believe their policy on this has changed, at least that is what a cashier told me. Now even if I give them that type of coupon first, they put it through last.
darn. i could have gotten it down to like 5 bucks if coupons counted. Ps: sorry, no, I dont know how to scan in an ad.. and a photo would be tiny.
I think i just saw that someone else uploaded it though? Looking forward to seeing ppl's scenarios for this.
My plan it to do this transaction a couple of times. If you add in 4 more items and use two more coupons you will end up paying 11.00 out of pocket for 14 items I think that is a great deal. I noticed that the coupon say's one per customer. I had originally thought of doing it a couple of times in one transaction and then using my 10/50 from last week but I guess that will not work. If anyone comes up with any other ideas please post them.
