After the Holidays I Need a Holiday 2012 Style!

Shopping, caroling, cooking, wrapping gifts and hosting parties got you frazzled?

We spend so much time on everyone else at this time of year it's time to get a little pampering for ourselves! Once the fa-la-la is over, it's time for the me-me-me!

The theme of this exchange is "Pampering your Pal".

Sign ups will end on January 5. Matchups will be sent by January 9th(or before) . Your last day to mail is January 23. You may mail early.

(note: you may be on 3 swaps at one time, if you are already on three swaps...you must wait until a swap wraps up before jumping on. Any questions feel free to contact your SP mods)




Requirements for this exchange:

• You will mail a package that contains at least 3 pampering items for your pal. Pampering items can be scented candles, bath soaps, pedicure kits, flavored teas, etc. Little items that your pal may not have had time to worry about lately as they shop for everyone on their holiday list. Please check special notes for your pal to avoid sending possible allergens.
• Your package will also contain 20 coupons or 3 stamps (forever or .44 stamps only!) You can mail stamps when you don't have enough quality coupons to send your pal or you just don't have time to pull coupons!
• Your package must have a minimum value of $10. This does not include shipping costs, or the value of the coupons/stamps included.
• Coupons rules: Expiration dates should be a minimum of 2 weeks out from when you're mailing! No baby, pet, meds, oddball products that very few members use like depends unless you have an exact wishlist match. If someone says they use cat food frees, do not include regular cat food, unless it is an extra. Please Limit 1 of each coupon unless it is an exact match to a wishlist. If you have an exact wishlist match, then duplicates are encouraged! Printables are fine if your pal says they can use them. BTFE's/CLFE/Coke Codes/Pamper Codes/etc. are all great to include if they are wishlist items. Rebates/TMF are fine but please watch state restrictions!

Requirements for the Sender:

• Mail your package by 1/23/12. It may be mailed early.
• Post on the thread that you have mailed your package
• It is your responsibility to make sure your package gets to the receiver. It is always recommended that you get a delivery confirmation on your package!
• If an emergency situation comes up where you are not able to send your package it is YOUR responsibility to notify your host of any delays. You are asked to respond to all PM or email messages from your host/SP Mods within 48 hours. Failure to do so may cause you to be blocked from the Secret Pal forum.
• You may mail by whatever class you wish, just make sure to use enough postage and properly package the contents with the name of the swap somewhere on the package. Putting your membername is up to you. You can keep it "secret".
• If you do not mail your package and the mods send on your behalf, you are responsible to reimburse cost of the package and shipping to that mod. If a more expensive mail class is used to make a deadline, you are expected to reimburse that cost.

Requirements for the recipient:

• If you have allergies or special considerations (like eczema so maybe you don't want body lotion with scents) please make a note of that when submitting your form so you will get a good package!
• Once you receive a package you post that you have received it in this thread. This is so your secret pal knows you received it. We don't want packages going missing and not know about it. Leaving FB for your pal is optional.
• Inform the host of any address changes ASAP
• Remember that not all coupons/gifts will be from your wishlist; the wishlist is a guide for your Secret Pal.

Love the knock-off Scentsy waxes from Better Homes and Gardens (about 3.00 each- found at Walmart).

Prefer hot chocolate to coffee and prefer coffee to tea.

Love homemade stuff (knitted, quilted, etc.)
