Secret Pal Swap: Important info regarding packages not being mailed.

Hi Everyone!!

The Secret Pal moderators are thrilled with the increased activity in the SP forum in the past year both with new members joining and with new members hosting. We as moderators are also frustrated and disappointed when a pal drops the ball and doesn't follow through on their end of the secret pal package. In the past, we have done our best to step in and send a package in that trader's place so that everyone has a great experience on each and every swap they participate on. Since it did not happen often, we were happy to do it.

We LOVE the large amount of participation in the SP forum, but more activity means a lot more swaps. Unfortunately, we are having more pals not fulfilling their ends. We are just not able to fill in each and every time a package is not sent like we used to. It just isn't financially feasible to have to replace packages weekly/monthly.

We, as a mod team have discussed it and since we aren't able to do it for everyone, we will no longer be doing replacement packages for anyone.

We hope that all swaps going forward will not have anyone that does not mail so this issue will be moot. But just in case it happens to arise again, we had to make sure you are aware as hosts and participants what, we as moderators, are are able to do.

Please know however that we are always here to help you and we will do everything we can to locate your package, get in touch with the pal, etc. We are still here for you in every way we can be. Don't hesitate to PM us with any questions!!!
