I am hosting this swap because November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month. Unfortunately this disease brought my Uncle to an early death and effects many others each year. Recently actor Patrick Swayze died fighting this horrible disease. Let's join together to make others aware of this killer.

INTRO

PACKAGE REQUIRMENTS: Purple is the color for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness, so anything purple (food, accessories, etc). Just to reiterate, it does not have to be cancer related. I just want to let everyone know that purple is the color for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness.

Requirements for this exchange:

• You will mail a package that includes purple items to commerate November being Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month.
• Your package will also contain 30 coupons.
• Your package must have a minimum value of $ 5. . This does not include shipping costs, or the value of the coupons included.
• Don't mail a ton of multiples unless he/she ask for them. For example, don't send 10 coupons of Advil unless he/she states that they need multiples.
• Also, don't include short expire coupons (less than 2 weeks) in your count of 30. These would be a bonus. The coupons need to expire later to give your secret pal time to use them.
  Do not send printable or expired coupons unless your pal says he/she can use them.
• If your pal does not have children, don't send baby coupons, if he/she does not have pets don't send pet coupons and if he/she does not ask for diet coupons, don't send them diet coupons.... you get the point!!
• You may send MIRs, Rebate forms, and TRM. They are counted as part of the 30.
• Post on the thread that you have mailed your package
• Once you receive a package you post that you have received it in this thread. (This is so your secret pal knows you received it.... we don't want pkgs going missing and not know about it.)
• Your package must be mailed no later than the mail date, they can be mailed early.

Requirements for the sender:

• Mail the package by November 25, 2009.
• Delivery conformation required with tracking number
• Send the forum moderators the delivery comfirmation number. to do so, fill out the form linked above.
• Post to the mail call thread on the date the package was mailed
• It is your responsibility to make sure your package gets to the receiver.
• PM the host ASAP if issues come up and you cannot mail on time.

Requirement for receiver:

• Post to this thread that you received the package
• Inform the host of any address changes asap
• Not all coupons/gifts will be from your wish list
• The wish list is a guide for your Secret Pal

In honor of my late uncle and all the others out there who have or are suffering, I will swap also. i lost my uncle in 2007 due to this as well. leaving behind a wife and their daughter who is now 13. it still doesn't seem real. thank you for hosting this, such a thoughtful, thoughtful idea!

Just got news that the Philadelphia Pancreatic Cancer Action Network has raised the most money (so far) of all of the US affliates this year!!!!!!! Right now we are at $354,000!
