lol - I think I have about (100+) BTFEs now from my crazy Wags buys, but I'm not allowed to do anything with them My sister is an teacher at a low-income school, so you can guess where they all go... I might be able to use the ones that I get from trades for future trades, but I think it'll just be easier to give them to my sister...

They are not just playground stuff. They are also able to get over 5000+ other products
Things like Classroom Skill Builders, Free-Time Reading Books, Classroom Supplies, Bulletin Boards....etc

Either way....easy way to get folks help pay for school stuff without too much effort on their part

So far I've donated about $70 worth to my son's school, and it's only April. I hope I can do at least that much more by December. This also included $5 ones that were a cat deal somewhere. My son's school is all for handicapped children and they don't have much money, or many students. So if anyone is wondering what to do with them, PM me and I'll give you their address to send yours there.

So it's probably cheaper to actually pay for some BTFE's than it is to pay for the bike.

They also sell good on Ebay.

I just donate all of mine to my daughter's school.

Right at the beginning of the year our school started sending home btfe collection letters the class that brings in the most will win a ice cream party. Not a huge deal but I had lots of box tops. I had my neices over and we started shopping the cupboards freezers and everywhere. We counted out 300+ we had shhets that we had to glue them to. I had to get additional sheets because we had so many I sent them all in on the same day. My son couldn't wait to come home to tell me how happy his teacher was. Then she even went as far to persoanlly called me to tell me they won the ice cream party.

Then last month the ptg had a nice family fun night you'll never guess who won the boys bike Yup my ds 4 yr old. I kind of wonder if it might have been a coincidence. He was really happy and so were we.

Same here! My son only has 8 kids in his class and because of his needs it is seperate than the rest of the school (financially speaking), so they need all the help they can get

BTFE gives the schools cash. We get checks twice a year. It can be used for whatever the school or parent groups wants! Ours goes into our general fund and pays for lots of things. We earned over $3500 this year!! You might be thinking of Campbell's Labels for Education. With that program, you have to select products from a catalog chock full of stuff, including a mini van!
Not currently trading--hope to get active again after the new year.

They can add up really quickly. If you have a school with 400 kids in it and each one brings in $10 worth of boxtops over the school year, that's a chunk of change. $10 worth of boxtops isn't really that many. My dd turned in $35 worth last year. I didn't go out of my way to find them, if they weren't coupon deals, I didn't get them and I didn't trade for any or buy them off ebay.

I just cut them off the boxes and cans as I get them. I don't have kids, and for some dumb reason the school district that I'm in doesn't collect them. I usually have 100 every six months. Same for the Campbell's labels. Most of the time I find someone that needs them. But if I can get something back for the extra postage that is takes, that would be nice.

I don't get paying money for them either, I've thought of them as free with purchase. I've eaten my popcorn, and look there's a 10 cent voucher for a school on the box!
