Have you guys seen all the changes they are doing? Expanded the deli food area and cafe, added an olive bar, wing bar, and shrimp bar, and are putting in a sandwich shop. Plus they have a recipe station where they have samples of those items. Do not shop there if you are hungry. Too many temptations! I think it might be in anticipation of the Hy-vee opening. I've heard that Hy-Vee has a ton of hot food choices. Now we just need them to have more good sales!

welcome fellow peorian!! yup they sure have changed the store around alot. they have that olive/soup speciality thing in front of the deli. and then that lady cooking right when you come around the corner!! that is on purpose.
we go there alot just for the free kids cookies! dd's have a cookie and i shop around.
now if they would only get some good winetags in that expanded wine area!
and i am sure once hyvee opens, the sales will get really ugly!! especially with 3 competitive stores in a block radius!

Lol, I'm not going to disagree with you. I moved from Raleigh, NC a few years ago. It's a bit depressing here, although people in Peoria are a lot friendlier than NC. Southern hospitality is hugely overrated!

i spent 6 weeks in north carolina and i would have to agree....i liked it there people would eye you and not say hi....though that was in my pre relationship days and loved the southern accent on the men!

i eye people all the time here, but i at least say hi!
