Re: Update within! - Peoria, IL Schnucks refused to double my Qs I too had a slight problem at Washington Kroger this week. One of the supervisors tried to reject my IPs, saying I could only use one of each. Basically, she didn't know where to look on the IP for the security code/pin and decided to reject my "duplicate". (Which of course was not a duplicate, but merely the 2nd of the 2 "bricks" Qs we're allowed to print.)
Anyway, on my way to work the next morning, I decided to see if the store mgr was in and I met with him and incidently, the supervisor who rejected my Q was there too. I brought in examples of both Coupons.com and Smartsource.com coupons and showed them where to look for the security codes/pins and explained how each site allows us to print 2 of each per computer.
Apparently, they had some trouble with a lady in the last week or so, bringing in a bunch of identical Qs, saying "I have 4 computers"...but all her security codes/pins MATCHED EACH OTHER, according to the super I spoke with.
I told her, "I know you can't do anything to her, but you send her out to the parking lot and I'll ream her up one side & down the other." :) Hehe, you don't mess with a couponer and the deals...you just don't. :)
I suppose the point of this whole post is just to say...if you can, take the time to get to know the staff and explain things to them. They're less likely to pin illegal coupon practices on you or have a nasty attitude toward you if you consistently show them that you're abiding by the rules (even if the staff doesn't know the rules!).
Put in some face time and I think it'll pay off!
I do go to Cubs occasionally but I've never tried to use expireds there. I just figured this area was a "no expired" area, but I could be wrong!
