IP Coupon Policy / Double Coupon Policy

Here is the Email I received for the IP policy for Schnucks/Logli Stores. I also asked if they ever take competitors Q's and below is the answer.

Thank you for your message. We typically only take our own store's coupons as a general guideline but if you have a specific coupon in mind, please let us know or call your local store manager directly. Manufacturer coupons and internet coupons are accepted however. Please see the guidelines below for our internet coupon policy.

Double Coupon Policy

This is all dependant on the area/region you are in.

LOND -- Indiana and Iowa stores and Dekalb, IL stores
Double to .40 limit 15 --STL area and Metro IL area(Alton stores area)
Double to .50 limit 15 --Washington,MO
Double to .50 (no limit specified) --Cape Girardeau, MO and Out State IL
Double to .55 limit 2 "like" --Rockford, IL and WI stores
Double to .60(no limit specified) --TN and MS stores

Double to .50 and .51-.99=$1 --Columbia, MO and Normal, IL

I have a question and I hope this is the right thread for it.

I'm in Columbia, MO and as the wonderful list above says, my Schnucks doubles up to 50c and any Q's between 51-99c is considered as $1.

I had a 75c/1 Dove deodorant Q that was valid for trial sizes so I grabbed a Dove deodorant (cost 99c). I thought I was going to get it for FREE since my 75c Q would have been $1/1 but it didn't double. I didn't ask the cashier why, I just let it go thinking it was a DND Q (which it wasn't).

I guess Schnucks doesn't double if you will end up getting the item for Free?

I would ask your store. The policy I got is from the ads. If you enter zip code 65203 (Columbia only store) the ad says .51-.99 doubles to $1. I live in the Rockford area so I can't really say except to go ask a manager why it didn't double. I have used the Bumble tuna .55/1 (these were DND) to double at my store and it takes off .99 which is the shelf price but not the whole double amount. HTH


Also is this the only coupon you have given them that hasn't doubled correctly?

Yeah, this is the only one so far. I noticed that when she scanned the Q something came up on the screen and she, I assume, had to punch something in to let it through.

Do you know if they will double coupons that say do not double ?

I also have coupon for a free organic girl salad item which was sent to me in snail mail .I hope I won't have a problem with this one .

Depends. If it starts with a 5 then it will double as long as the cashier doesn't not let it double. If it starts with a 9 then it will not double at all. HTH

I know the store in Bettendorf, IA doesn't double coupons. When I use to shop at the Columbia store, self-scanning at the U-Scan was off limit. After I attempted to use over 100 coupons during a Super Double promo and the register started smokin' (just kidding), the manager informed me there was a limit of 3 double of the same coupons. Told her I might be walking in and out like I do in St. Louis, which got her smokin' too. After that I gave my business to Gerbes, which is more consumer friendly.
