Default Blueberry and Spice Sauce

Blueberry and Spice Sauce

Good over ice cream, cake, or pancakes

1/2 c sugar
1 Tbsp corn starch
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 cup hot water
2 cups fresh blueberries, rinsed and drained (frozen work fine)

In small saucepan, combine sugar, corn starch, cinnamon and nutmeg; gradually stir in water. Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Add blueberries and continue stirring just until sauce reaches a boil again. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Serve warm over anything :)

Default Re: Blueberry and Spice Sauce

This sounds really good, I wouldn't think to combine those spices and blueberries.
