Default Dill Sauce

Dill Sauce

Combine 1 cup dairy sour cream, 1 tablespoon snipped chives, 1 teaspoon vinegar, ½ teaspoon grated onion, ½ teaspoon dried dillweed, and ¼ teaspoon salt; mix well.

I wonder if this is like the dill dressing that is put on the red-skinned potato salad?

Also - what do you think about putting this on sandwiches....grilling some chicken & veggies & eating them on warmed pita bread with this sauce?

I've used it as a lighter tartar sauce, but it's also great as a dill dip, like you buy in a carton for veggies, and yes, it is similar to the red potato salad dressing. HTH
