Re: I still go to Sam's or costco for We used to have Sams and Costco memberships. Now we only keep Costco.
We used to buy meat, diapers, toilet paper, paper towels, wipes, cleaning supplies, detergent. Every time we went there it was at least $150. Not anymore. I don't buy any of those things there anymore. Now we only go for oil for the cars since my husband changes the oil in our cars. Sometimes we get fruit, eggs and milk.
I got toilet paper for almost free last week at CVS, free paper towels at Walgreens and Target. The diapers, wow, CVS all the way, Walgreens too. I don't pay more than $2 oop per pack of diapers anymore. The wipes can be had free so I certainly don't pay for those anymore.
I have only been using coupons since the beginning of the year, and I can't tell you how grateful I am I picked up this hobby. Now it actually pains me to see people at the warehouse clubs filling up their carts with cereal!! (cereal is free so often, there's no need to pay for it), or their big pack of toilet paper or paper towels. It's just painful to watch! |
