DD3 (Safeway)Sun 3/16 - 3/23 "Easter Entertaining"

I was at the Safeway in Bel Air, Maryland last night and I picked up what I thought was the current weekly ad from a box by the door, turns out it is a new "Easter Entertaining" ad that starts Sunday, 3/16 running through next Sunday, 3/23.

Here's the highlights:

Dove Chocolate Easter Candy (8.5 to 9.5 oz bags), 2 for $7
Cadbury Bars 4oz, $1
Palmer Assorted Bunnies 1.75 to 8oz, $1
Starburst, Skittles, or Life Savers Easter Candy (8 to 14oz bags), 2 for $3
50% off Easter Filled Baskets, assortment varies by store, $2.99 to $11.99

Plus much more, it's a six page ad.

An immediate stand out is the Kellogg's Super Coupon, that makes it free after the Catalina machine spits out a $3 cat, although if I bring home any more cereal I think my wife will kill me!

This particular store also has a gas station, I got 10 cents off per gallon when I used my club card, $3.12 a gallon was the reduced price.

Anyway, just thought I'd let everybody know what was coming.

Mike

Hi, yeah, I stocked up at 50 cents for General Mills, but now with the Kelloggs being free half the time it's hard to resist!

I have 22 boxes. My 15 yr old thinks I've lost my mind! He keeps asking "How many more boxes of cereal are you gunna buy MOM?!" I just smiled. My husband keeps saying, "it's ok guys you never know what the future holds". We'll see if he think that way after this weeks cereal haul! LOL

I wonder if the Kellogg's deal will be like the General Mills deal? They had a Super coupon in the extra flier and then we ended up not needing it at all.

Free is good, but if there wasn't the stipulation of the Super coupon we could buy 7, per transaction for $7 (minus coupons) and get the $10 catalina back. Good money maker

Is it any Kellogg's cereal or specific ones?

Do the Super coupons require a $10 additional purchase?

The Super Coupon shows a picture of a box of Frosted Flakes and a box of Frosted Mini-Wheats, it says "3 for $3. Must Buy 3. Kellogg's Cereal 14 to 20oz. Selected varieties. Limit 1 purchase of 3 with minimum $10 purchase."

I assume you can buy more than 3, it's just that the coupon (and $1 price) will only apply to 3 of them. The $2 price from the other Ad runs through 3/18.

When the General Mills super coupon came out it was a Sunday start too in the middle of another ad. Then the ad that came out on Wednesday had the advertisement with the $5/5. So we could always hope!!
