#1 | | | | Guest | Safeway - What's your Store Coupon Doubling Policy? Please feel free to add your own stores policy to this thread. Then I can add it to the list Arizona Phoenix, AZ: Doubles up to and including .50, there seems to be a written policy of limit of 3 coupons per like item but enforcement is another story. Luck of the draw, I guess. Sierra Vista, AZ double coupons up to and including .50 ~~ also credits .25 for a .75 coupon. no stacking of coupons allowed unless one clearly states "manufacturer's coupon" and the other clearly states "safeway coupon". I tried using a "safeway coupon" out of the weekly flyer (it also had "mfgr's coupon" on it) with a "manufacturer's coupon" today and the register beeped. it can NOT have mfgr's on it anywhere in order to be able to stack it. Illinois Dominick's (Chicago, IL): No double coupons. Most stores accept expired coupons. Maryland Arnold, MD: no printables, double coupons <50 cents Annapolis, MD: yes printables, double < 50 cents Bowie, MD @ Fairwood Parkway: unknown on internet printables, coupon policy changed and they now double up to and including $0.50 Bowie, MD @ Bowie Town Center: unknown on internet printables, does double up to and including $0.50 Easton, MD: Double coupons up to and including .50; no known limit on number that will double, but this store rarely has all of the same sales seen at other Safeways Edgewater, MD: yes printables, double <50 cents Frederick, MD: doubles coupons up to and including .50 ***no limit on the # they will double unsure if mine takes internet coupons Kent Island, MD: Double coupons up to and including .50; no known limit on number that will double Greenbelt, MD @ Greenway Shopping Center: unknown on internet printables, does double up to and including $0.50 Severna Park, MD: no printables, not sure of doubling policy New Mexico Farmington/ Aztec NM No Doubling Ever Internet Coupons Accepted Oregon Double up to .50c, max 4, per trip, per week, per customer Washington Olympia WA: Does not Double! (or triple - ever) Cashiers freak on doing coupons on B1G1 sales (two coupons on two items) but if you have a huge stack of other things not a problem :) Virginia Virginia VA Double up to 1$ (ie .35 is .70 ,.50 is 1$ and so on.) But only tough time i had was with internet cpns, but another store did accept.

| Re: Coupon Policies (general store compulation) Safeway? Coupon Policy? That is a joke. It is very dependant on who the checker is, who the manager is, what way the wind is blowing, etc. Mine doubles up to 4 max up to .50 each... yet corporate told me that they are only supposed to do THREE... yet in the paper each week is a "four" doubler. sheesh. I asked both locally and corporate for a copy of their coupon policy so I can follow the rules and was told they do not have one. I do NOT believe this... but can't get one sent to me. SOOOOOO... I think this thread is not worth a hoot. (Just my opinion and my frustration at no set policy).

| Re: Coupon Policies (general store compulation) In the fine print at the back of the ad (in S.W. Oregon) it states that you can only use 1 coupon for a B1G1. The cash registers don't mind, and I have only had it enforced once.

They double at some stores in the Denver, CO, area. Never had them tell me any limits on like coupons or amount of coupons. For the first time, I noticed the announcement on the back of the ad that states they'll only take 1 coupon on a B1G1 sale. I've always used two coupons, but I guess I'll have to change my ways now!
