I did discuss with him how Safeway.com allows printable coupons, and he allowed me one-time, but probably won't let me next time now that he knows me. | I just had the same experience in Waldorf near the Best Buy.
I printed coupons from Safeway.com, and the checker said that they didnt take printed coupons. I told them I got them from Safeway.com and she called over the manager that told me he would honor them that one time.
I told him they came from his company, and he told me "they keep putting them up there, but then they keep telling us not to take them"
huh? |

| re: Safeway - Coupon Policies ( general store compilation ) Like the pp, I'm new to Safeway. I also hope this is the right place for a coupon question. Is there a limit to how many like-coupons I can use in a transaction? They are insert Qs, not IPs. (They will also double, if that makes a difference.) Also, is there a limit to how many Qs I can use with a raincheck? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I spent *hours* looking on the web to see if the MIT Q's would get rejected or not, and I only got mixed information. So I just decided to go for it...the worst that could happen is they refused them and I put some stuff back right?? Well, I went to tonight with my husband and while I was there I saw a fellow couponer and went up to her to ask...since she obviously looked like a seasoned safeway shopper. (THANK YOU SO MUCH, MYSTERY COUPONER!!!) She said it would be no problem to do that, but to make sure I put my high dollar Q's in front of the stack so they would all scan. Everything went off great, I saved $115.10 and a total savings of 61%!!!!! I am SO proud of myself, I purchased 76 items for $77.67. Can I get a HELLLLL YEAH, lol?
I was so nervous to go and do this, I have only ever shopped at CVS before, and I WORK there so it was never a big deal to me. My husband and I just bought a house though and we have to stretch every dollar we have. I really am so happy with how things went down, and I showed myself with a little (well...actually, alot, lol) of work, the savings really does "pay"!!! |

I am new to shopping at Safeway, so I was hoping one of you experienced coupon divas could help me out...
Can I use as many of the "Simple Affordable" coupons from the book as I have products? For instance, if I buy 3 Old El Paso taco shell kits, can I use 3 coupons from the "simple affordable" book?
I am assuming the "Simple Affordable" coupons are considered store Q's, so am I correct in assuming I can use those in conjunction with a manu. Q?
Thanks so much!!! | Yes, you can use as many Safeway coupons as you have items from that book because the wording doesn't restrict you.
Yes, because they are store coupons you can stack them with one manufacturer coupon for each item.
Is't it just too fun!!!! You go girl!!! |
