One of the local Safeways is being remodeled so they have a clearance aisle. I found 5lb bags of Jasmine rice for $3.00, scrubbing bubbles actions scrubbers $1.00, misc swiffers pads $1.00 and a ton of misc stuff. I will be checking back often.

In Surprise, AZ Safeway, I found Smart Balance Omega Buttery Blend 15 oz tub marked down to $1.25. There are $1 Qs out there. I picked up 3 for .75 cents.
Found Special K chocolatey on "reduced for quick sale" even though they don't expire until June 2009, for $1.99/pk, there are $1/2 coupons out there and they qualify for the SSM that ends today :)
Yesterday I found Coppertone sunscreen for kids 50 SPF on clearance for 5.50 - there are $2 tearpad Qs out there that I actually found at the Safeway pharmacy (they exp. 8/31/08).
So 3.50 per bottle - not great, but not bad considering I need it for this week at the water park.
I saw the Safeway diapers 60pk Size 1 or 2?? on clearance for $3.19'ish the other day. Fabulous deal (was $15.99 I think?) but I don't need diapers.. hope that helps someone.

In Katy, TX they were $1, so I got 5 free! Had another q, but no more product! I also frequently find the organic milk marked $2/gal, and there are $1 and $1/2 qs, so that is a steal!
I just got back from Safeway...they had Glade Scented Oil Candles with the glass holders clearanced down to $2.98. Minus the $2 q I got them for $.98!!!!!!!!!
They'll make great presents!

There was a huge box full of children's books with a clearance sign that said "50% off lowest price". These were quality books, many kits with CDs, etc. Most were priced $4.99 +/-, and would make great Christmas gifts. Also saw some cookbooks and home decorating books (all hard back).

I was in a Safeway I dont normally shop today and they had the Colgate Total 4.2 oz (whitening, paste) on clearance for .82 each! I used my $1 off coupons and got .18 overage on 4 of them. Also a few of the Gum little brushes - the round ones that go between teeth were .59 each (I only had one of the .55 coupons) so got one for .04. Lastly there was a oral b kids power brush for 1.54.
