I just posted the 5 day ad, and the ribeye roast is onsale for 5.99/lb. Might make for some cheap roasts?
The Safeway Just For U program has $2 off Rancher's Reserve beef, expires 2/28/11.
Get some free meat. I think this includes their ground beef, but have not confirmed this yet so YMMV! Let us know.
Edit: Just wanted to put this at the top of the thread after it was mentioned below, there is a coupon in the Joy Of Football coupon book for the same thing. If you can get your hands on multiple coupon books you can keep doing this deal over & over!

There were also some BOGO RR meats, like london broil. I think there were 3 or 4 types on bogo. I don't have the physical ad in front of me. There was also the same coupon in the football book, which say "one item per coupon", so you "should" be able to use multiples per transaction, although it doesn't always work correctly.
I'm so glad you brought this up... Here is what I was wondering... could I get Ranchers Reserve meat at the meat/seafood counter? If so, could I get 3 or 4 steaks individually wrapped and priced and then use a $2.00 off coupon on each. Same thing if they have ground beef at the counter...like have 1/2 pd wrapped at a time?

I was told by an asst manager at one of my stores that the $2/1 RR Qs are internally coded as "1 per transaction, $10 min purchase, $5+ min price on beef". HOWEVER, since the coupon doesn't say any of this, all of my stores have been reducing the price of each package by $2. I have used multiples fine but ONLY because they are manually reducing using the coupon.
Kind of a royal pain, but I have slowly built up to about 40lbs of beef over the last few weeks and 3 different SW stores!

I'm really curious if this can be used on the ground beef. I notice they don't say "Rancher's Reserve". I like to buy the 93/7 (DH's insistence!), so $2 off a package would really be nice.
I have read "elsewhere" it is fine, one person I think asked the butcher and was told it was Ranchers Reserve. I have still not tried it yet.
