New Safeway coupon book - The Joy Of Football: The Big Party Playbook

I've already had to call the 800 number as my safeway says you have to purchase ten pounds of meat to use the Ranchers reserve coupon-there is no specifics on the coupon-my store was not pleased they had to take it. My store is also guarding the books but they always do(half the time they won't even put them out), thats ok though I'll just go to all the other safeways and use the coupons and get some books.

I don't have any stores in my town other than Walmart & HEB. Two questions: 1. Can the coupons be used anywhere? Or only Safeway? 2. Since this book is put out by Kraft - any chance it popping up at one of my stores? Or is this something unique to Safeway.

There are both maufacturer's coupons that can be used at other stores & Safeway coupons to be used at only Safeway, unless others have another store that accepts competitor's coupons.

It's odd this time around. When the Thanksgiving book was out, by store had them all over the place. Piles of 10 or more all over the store. I stalked the aisles for the current one and found a small pile at the customer service desk. When the clerk walked away, I grabbed 7. I'll need to swing by another store and see if I can pick up a few more.

It's crazy! The Thanksgiving booklets were everywhere. I ended up having over 100 q's I couldn't use or trade before they expired. With these, it's like pulling teeth to get. I either have to go super early when there aren't many employees in the store, or I have to go to the one store with the self-checkout and wait until the employee monitoring them is distracted and take some... It's ridiculous.

I found 2 today, but both of them had the Rancher's Reserve Q torn out.

Thank you so much! I'm brand new and need to start by stockpiling coupons! I just ran to my Safeway and got two of these books!
